Red triangle emblematizes the "Globalization" and two green triangles symbolizes the concern about the "Environment"

Tree of the district - Zelkova

A Comfortable and kind Zelkova Tree has the longest history among the trees that Yeonsu-gu has conserved.

It is a democratic tree that symbolizes iron will(trunk), harmony(branch), courtesy(leaf) and long life It means that Yeon-Su District Office will perform all civil affairs with harmony and strong will.
Bird of the district - Crane

It noble tidy and never-luxurious figure stands for the long life and the prosperous future of the residents of the district.

It also stands for the District serving for the residents in silence without conceit and the District marching toward the prosperous future.
Flower of the district - Azalea

It is widely distributed throughout Cheongnyang Mountain and munhak Mountain which make the resident feel friendly.

It is a lovely and emotional flower to be called lovely national flower, and with its floral language "Pleasure of Love".

It is a symbol of Yeon-Su-Gu filled with love.

As CI "Better life Yeonsu", the symbol mark of Yeonsu District, means that Yeonsu District, the core of Incheon which is the logistics and harbor center of 21C Northeast Asia, leaps up toward the world, it symbolizes the stature as the advanced district and quality of the pleasant life. Environment-friendly Yeonsu District with pleasance is expressed through green-colored belt and red sun, and the appearance of Yeonsu inhabitants enjoying the happy life is expressed through 'Y' shape.

As the crane, the character of Yeonsu District, is the trans-Siberian migratory bird, it symbolizes the future-oriented image spreading out toward the world.
